The Green Party has gained its very first Neath Port Talbot councillor this year, following the success of candidate Nathan Goldup-John in Coedffranc Central.
The Green Party councillor, who became a member with a total of 552 votes, took one of the two seats available alongside the Labour member for the area. It followed a successful campaign for the party right across Wales with eight local councils now having Greens in the room.
