Fe ymledodd tanau gwyllt ar draws darnau helaeth o’r blaned, gan ddistrywio cymunedau a dinistrio amrywiaeth gwerthfawr o fywyd. Mewn ardaloedd eraill fe welwyd cynnydd mewn tywydd eithafol, gyda digwyddiadau a fu o’r blaen yn anghyffredin, fel y llifogydd dinistriol a darodd gymunedau ar draws y byd, gan gynnwys fan hyn yng Nghymru.
