Anthony Slaughter - Leader

Anthony Slaughter was elected Wales Green Party Leader / Spokesperson in December 2018, having previously served as Deputy Leader in 2014 and 2015. He has been an active WGP member and campaigner for several years both locally, in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, and nationally across Wales.
He has represented WGP many times on local and national television and radio, both live and pre-recorded, and has taken part in a wide variety of public meetings and events on behalf of the Greens.

Linda Rogers - Deputy Leader

Linda Rogers

Linda first engaged in politics during the miners’ strike, getting involved with local support groups. She was also drawn to the work of CND following a visit to Greenham Common. She's worked as a teacher, particularly with pupils with additional learning needs.

She has been the convener of the Bangor and Ynys Mon Peace and Justice Group since the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001. With her partner Philip Steele, she has campaigned with the anti-nuclear group Pobl Atal Wylfa B (PAWB) and is an organising officer with CND Cymru.

Phil Davies - Deputy Leader

Phil DaviesPhil Davies, a youth activist and campaigner from Cwmbrân, has been chosen as Wales Green Party’s new deputy leader.

Phil, aged 28, was raised in and still lives in Cwmbrân, and attended the former Llantarnam Comprehensive School and Coleg Gwent before attending Aberystwyth University to study psychology and international politics.

Locally he has campaigned with Climate Action Torfaen and Llarcs Community Group. He also helps lead the Young Greens in Wales and England as the Political Education Officer for the party’s youth movement.
